We offer Private lessons and group classes for guitar, piano, bass, drums, voice, recording, and songwriting In Arvada, Westminster and Denver areas.

We are located 15 minutes from Golden, 5 minutes from Arvada and 10 minutes from Broomfield.

Adult Recording Classes

Denver School of Music has become the leading training center for advanced music training in the southwest. We have students fly from all areas to take our elite music classes. We are proud members of NAMM as well as leaders for online music training.

Film Scoring Technology

This class will teach you the beginning acts of scoring. We focus on how to setup your home studio with the technology you need in order to make cinematic soundtracks.

Classes are 8 weeks long and class size in limited to 10 students. Or take the intensive program over 3 days.

Music sampling 3-day

Learn how to master your sample library’s and sampler. This class focuses on learning Kontakt and Logic’s EXS24. This class is for advanced music production, but those that are new to sampling.

Learn all the features and capabilities of your sampler
Discover how to create your own drum kit, violin, guitar and bass.
learn the techniques to develop speed in your work flow, as if you were a seasoned pro

MIDI keyboard controller

Software. Logic Studio, Redmatica’s Keymap 1.5, Kontact or EXS 24

Logic 101

Now you can record audio and MIDI better, edit your sequences faster, mix like the pros, and master every aspect of Logic Studio. You’ll learn how to get great sounds out of Logic Pro’s software instruments and signal processors. You’ll navigate Logic Pro’s powerful interface with speed and confidence. With our help, you’ll polish your creations into Billboard-ready chart toppers!

Logic Studio is the most comprehensive tool for music professionals available. And when you understand how to use it to its full power, it will provide you with everything that you need for the studio, stage, and screen.

The biggest problem is that Logic Studio is so deep it could take years to truly master it without any guidance.

Logic 301

This class is very advanced and for people that have taken the logic 101 and passed with 80%.

Cinematic Composition

We all want to write epic and dramatic music without putting weeks of time into composition. We now have a class starting that not only will teach you how to do just that, but in a way that you still sound original and creative.

This class is for students that have a burning desire to have a future in film scoring or writing music for trailers.

Software. Logic Studio, Project Sam’s Symphobia, Ni’s Kontact, EXS 24, and a Midi controller. Even though this software is not required it’s strongly recommended that you purchase previous to your first class.
