Garage Band


What is it?

This is a performance based program. Students will attend weekly 2-3 hour supervised rehearsals for 3-4 months to perpare for the upcoming big show. Students will choose specific music that will educate them on music techniques used by those bands.

Where?

Rehearsals will be held at each respective school in 5 different rehearsal rooms that are fully equipped with professional band rehearsal equipment.

When?

Students will rehearse one day a week. Times will be announced at registration. Call for car pool availability. Lessons will be scheduled throughout the week.

How do I join?

Call the school that is nearest to you and set up an appointment for an audition time. Each student is required to show up 15 minutes early for his/her audition and must bring payment information to the audition. Students will be placed on a waiting list when Garage Band is full.

Who can do it?

We can have beginners as wells as advanced musicians. Beginners will play along side the other advanced musicians.

How much do it cost?

The price for Garage Band is $240 a month which includes lessons each week.

FAQ

Q: Does my child have to play an instrument?
A: Nope, they will learn along side other accomplished musicians.

Q: Can I do Garage Band year round?
A: We offer Garage Band year round and you may audition for each session.

Q: What are the auditions for?
A: They help us place students in the proper groups and also help us eliminate the problematic musicians before entering Garage Band. So all questions can be answered before any commitment is made.
