Hello Rob fulton here, owner of Denver School of Music. We teach Guitar lessons all over Colorado and there have been some arguments on talent from my friends that own music schools in California.

After a mastermind call I have had with my group in LA, I have come to a few conclusions.

First, there are obviously more people in CA, which means they are more venues, playing opportunities and other musicians to play with.

Second, the focus on entertainment and the arts. In LA there are limitless possibilities and places to take guitar lessons than there are in Colorado. I have looked around and there are not many music schools in colorado and the ones that are here are under marketed and not a lot of word of mouth.

What I think about the future is that a lot will change. Guitar lessons are not the same 5 years ago as they are now, or as they will be in 5 years. My commitment is to get a lot more guitar players playing more shows, and writing and singing more songs. Colorado needs more singer songwriters that play guitar and sing. This in my observations will create more drummers, Bass players, keyboardist and more hit records.

Third, The ability to record a hit record in Colorado. My good friends in Boulder have a studio where they produce up and coming bands, they run a place called The Hook Factory. They have proven to produce some of the best sounding production to come out of colorado and my goal is to have bands our school creates and produce them and record them there. It’s now not unheard of to spend a year learning guitar and voice and then get in a band, play 4-5 shows write some songs and produce a CD.

Anyways, these are just some thoughts that I wanted to share,

To The Top

Rob Fulton

When you enter DSoM you feel like you have entered a new world. When you can come to a place that’s fun and entertaining you don’t want to leave.

It’s not the location either. It’s the synergy you get when you are playing in a band, recording your songs or taking a songwriting class.

We give every student the possibility to take their music to the top. Many of our past students have went on to record CDs as well as go on National Tours. You and your family have the same opportunities as they do.

If your reasons for having your teens take lessons at the school is having fun, winning their school talent show, developing quality relationships or just becoming well rounded then you have come to the right place.

Our goal is to have your son or daughter perform regularly (RockBand) and to Record their music (RecordingDay) monthly and to become a recognized musician at school and in your community.

Every year our students, win Jazz Band competitions, go to prestigious music schools and even go on tour. Stop and think what your son or daughter could do…

Call today and make an appointment @ Denver School of Music for an Intro lesson. This is valued at 25.00 and is FREE this month. Feel free to call 303-420-7952 or fill out this form and Lelia or another student advisor will call you to setup an no-risk student assessment.
