So you wanna play the bass? Great Idea, the world can sure use more bass players. I want to tell you something about bass players. You will never have trouble finding people to play with in a band. We welcome all bass players with open arms at DSoM.

When you start Bass lessons at Denver School of Music. The first thing you learn is technique, we want you to play bass lines from day one. You will go through special focused drills that will build strength in your fingers, wrist and arms. You will be playing right away and you will not need any understanding at all on music to do this. After your technique is on the level of an seasoned beginner, then we take you through a very exciting bass music theory program where you learn how to create bass lines on your own that will fit with music that you will be writing with guitar players that we group you together with in our electric guitar music program.

After you start rehearsing with other musicians the real learning happens and you start developing your own music style and learning about music through experience versus the book work approach.

Here are the 3 Reasons you have to take bass lessons at Denver School of Music:

1. You will be playing bass in record time, you will be playing as fast as we do, so buckle up!

2. You will have all other instruments at the school so you can find others to play with right around the corner.

3. You are guaranteed to have more fun learning bass at our school than any other school period. What can we do for you?
